Declarations of Conformity Regarding the Recreational Craft Directive, Their Components, and Personal Watercraft (2013/53/EU)

THE NEW RSG GUIDELINES 2026

The new RSG 2026 guidelines (Recreational Craft Sectoral Group Guidelines) have been published, introducing new criteria for compliance with Directive 2013/53/EU on recreational craft. They represent an important step forward for the safety of recreational craft. Their implementation will help reduce the number of accidents at sea and make boating a safer experience for everyone. Furthermore, it will ensure that boats and components designed, manufactured, and placed on the market comply with these guidelines.

CE Marking – Download the official mark

The CE marking is an essential tool for certifying that a product meets all the safety, health, and environmental protection requirements set forth in the applicable European directives. It is a legal requirement for all products covered by the so-called “New Approach.”
